Rise above these petty issues and start thinking on how to grow ourselves to compete with the 1st world... how to come out of this 3rd world category

Dear Pakistani Brothers.. With due respect to Quran I must say that its upto an individual how he sees things. There are many groups of practicing muslims who are Indians and has been singing these songs in institutes, competitions, albums(AR Rehman) and concerts since years. What’s the big fuss about that ? Even knowing what they are singing these people are good muslims.

The point is compelling people to not sing a particular song. Who has given them the right to mandate people. This is nothing but trying to be in lime light and gain political mileage out of such kind of petty issues.

Vande Materam contains some verses akin to worship the nation. Islam teaches to worship the creator not the created one.
